The guide is now online in a beta version. If you are a registered member of the Desert Peaks Section, you will be receiving an email in the next couple of weeks or less with a user name and password to access the files. Keep in mind, the Guide will be a "living document" at this point, and will be updated as things change and reports are sent (by you, the membership) to the guide editor(s). For now, that would be me, Jim Morehouse. I've left the old maps intact, but have made new maps using the caltopo.com website. This is a free service and I've found it immensely useful, not only for the Guide, but for my own climbing use as well. The entire U.S. is covered here. Check back here for updates to the Guide.
