Mar 2-3 Sierra Pinta in Baja California. A 4-wheel drive journey with hiking. Harry Melts directs the caravan.
Mar 6 Monthly DPS social meeting. Program will feature our own Arkel Erb, speaking on DPS climbs with Little Picacho in particular.
Mar 9-10 An Arizona side scenic Colorado River climb to the Needles. Bud Bingham and Erb leading the group.
Mar 16-17 The peaks in the Kingston Range of Eastern California, east of Shoshone. Bud Bingham directing traffic.
Apr 6-10 The Sierra San Pedro Martir, a real exploration. Designed for the Easter Vacation crowds, with John Robinson and Bill Clifton terminating the hand line.
Apr 6-7 Butte Valley Exploratory for those of us forced to stay close to home of Death Valley. This too, is a 4 wheel drive affair with side hikes of minimum duration. Roger Mitchell, conducting.
Apr 18 Annual Banquet. 'Nuf said.
Apr 20-21   The great Panamint Crest and Sentinel Peak, along with Hungary Bill's Ranch on the Death Valley side. A great on with Bob Herlihy. Watch your water supply!
