DAVE BROWER COMING TO TOWN
The following letter has been received by the DPS Chairman:
"The Palos Verdes Area Group is delighted to have David Brower, Executive Director of the Sierra Club, coming from San Francisco to speak to us on Tuesday, June 29th, l965, at 8 PM. Since we are a new group and our programs are not yet in the Angeles Chapter Schedule, we are sending this letter to each Group and Section hoping you will read it at your next meeting and include it in your next Newsletter. We invite all Club member's to come and bring their friends on that evening.
Mr. Brower has been asked to speak on the very current Grand Canyon situation, which should interest anyone concerned with conservation. Our meeting will be held at the Malaga Cove School Cafeterium, 385 Via Almar, Palos Verdes Estates. Turn right off Palos Verdes Drive north to the stop sign past Malaga Cove Plaza; go down Via Almar to first stop sign, right again down to parking area; Cafetorium fronts on Paseo del Mar.
Cordially, Nick Reznick, Chmn PVAG"
Here is a fine chance to find out just what is happening first hand in our Sierra Club battle in this critical area. Let's all be there!

The DPS Newsletter will be back again next October. Watch for it, and in the meantime a great summer awaits us all!
