to be an early bird to get on his reservation list. They are climbing Avawatz and Funeral Peaks, while letting the bus take them up to Dante's View.

PERSONALS: ALDEN HILTON of Sacramento pleasantly surprised us twice in close succession recently by coming down to join our activities. First was on the Telescope Peak trip and then at the Annual Chapter Banquet. Desert Peakers plunged into the sea of matrimony in great numbers this summer. Leading off was FRANK SANBORN, who married Charlotte Steitz on July 13. Frank is gradually introducing Charlotte to the Sierra Club activities. On July 20, WARREN FLOCK married popular JO ANN WALTON, who is already an enthusiastic Sierra Clubber. I'm afraid we lost JUNE KILB0URNE as a Desert Peaker on August 20, when she married Tom Hakala, who promptly took her back to Boston where he is entering Harvard Medical School.

NEW MEMBERS to add to your roster are Harry McLean, who climbed his sixth qualifying peak a year ago on the Eagle Mtn, climb; Dr. Mack A. Kellet, who recently completed his sixth qualifying peak which includes all the emblem peaks; and Harry and Siina Milts, who quaulified on the Boundary-Montgomery trip. In connection with this new member information, Secretary Trudy Hunt urges all of you to send her immediately any corrections to our roster, so the 1958 version can avoid the many omissions and inaccuracies which were unavoidable in the current one.
