I: Saline Pk (7,063'): Scheduled exploratory climb of this proposed peak addition to the DPS list. President's Day trip w/ leisurely drive to Saline Valley. Arrive anytime Saturday, relax in hot springs until 1:30pm when we consolidate cars & leave on short drive for roadhead. Sunday climb Saline Pk (10 mi RT, 3850' gain) via a new route through White Talc Canyon & see some of the finest petroglyphs I have ever seen, Return to the hot springs Sunday night to relax. Bring water, snacks & campfire wood. Monday is a free day to relax or do a private climb. Either Nelson Pk or Dry Mtn available on Saturday &/or Monday.
