38. Tucki. Mountain Road
High clearance vehicles recommended. Washing of road causes sedans to risk severe undercarriage damage. A 4 mile section of the road from Telephone Canyon requires all drivers to use caution about dropping a wheel into the gullied road surface. 4WD high clearance, large rocks, drop-offs, gravel and sand. 3 dry falls that are 3-4 ft. high.

39. Telephone Canyon
Road to remain closed, hikers encouraged.

40. Telescope Peak
There is no road to Telescope Peak. See description for Mahogany Flat.

41. Titus Canyon
The road closes during the summer because of flashflood potential, excessive heat, and wildlife needs. The road also closes occasionally in winter due to snow or flooding. When open, November through April, the road surface varies from washboard texture to wash outs across the road that would cause 2WD vehicles or small truck to be high-centered. Recommend high clearance vehicles at present due to rocks and sandy conditions. Most motor homes and pickup campers are too large and unstable to travel safely. Red Pass grade is steep and narrow, with sharp switchback turns and protruding boulders and potholes on the grade. Very tough, washboard. Standard passenger cars not recommended at this time.

42. Trail Canyon
2WD high clearance the first 4-5 miles, then 4WD after dropping into wash because of loose gravel. Road is very rough.

43. Virgin Springs Road
From the turn-off on Rt. 2 you travel in a N.E. direction. It is sandy in spots and rough in others. The road follows above the main wash and ends about 2 miles in. Recommend 4WD vehicles. Stay out of washes.

44. Westside Road
Recommended high clearance. Starting from the south end and proceeding north the road is fairly good up to the Warm Spring Canyon turn-off. It becomes dusty between there and the water tanks (Galena Canyon turn-off). From Eagle Borax north there are only some minor rough spots. This road is closed in the summer. Very washboardy.

45. White Top Mountain Road
Vehicles must negotiate 3 relatively small dry falls, 12-24 inches. Marginally passable for 2WD high clearance vehicles. Travel beyond Burro Spring Junction is not recommended when wet or snow covered during the winter months. Last 5 miles washed out just a couple miles beyond Burro Springs Jct. at Dry Bone Canyon. 4x4 high clearance recommended.

46. Wood Spring Road
Four wheel drive, rough road. Do not drive on the sections where people have driven off road.

47. Wingate Wash
Closed to vehicular travel: redesignated as a primitive foot trails. (See trails illustration map.)
