Duane McRuer, our council representative, is in pursuit of an IGNISFATUUS - an outings policy favorable to the interests of the climbing sections. His power of persuasion helped side track (probably temporarily) the formation of an Intermediate Mountaineering Training Course. For his carelessness and lack of attention he has been elected Chapter Counsel Chairman. Congratulations and deep appreciation go out to you, Duane, for your investment of time and interest in our welfare. The Nominating Committee, Vi Grasso, Doug Mantle and George Hubbard have amassed a slate of nominees for the 1978-1979 Management Committee. The persons are named as follows:

Ballots will be mailed to you in Mid-March. The completed ballot must reach the Secretary-Treasurer by April 5 or brought to the monthly meeting on April 5th. You will be required to vote for not more than five candidates. The following Peaks will be proposed as additions to the climbing list: Last Chance, Sandy, Stewart and Brown.
