Penny said maps showing the overall desert with areas in the categories of open, c1osed, restricted and special design will be available soon after Nov. 1. Maps of individual areas showing approved routes of travel are being developed and will be printed as funds become available.
The maps may he obtained by writing the BLM California State Office, 2800 Cottage Way, Sacramento, Ca. 95825 ; or the Bakersfield District Office or the Riverside District Office.
