passages describe the challenges, rewards and satisfaction of rock climbing are particularly enjoyable. in addition, the text is illustrated by well chosen photographs and numerous drawings by Sheridan Anderson which are humorous as well as informative. I recommend this book to anyone who ever plans to climb anything more difficult than second class, or who is even interested in the sport of rock climbing. P.S. Walt, if you give me some more books, I promise to get the reviews into print a lot faster next time.
