Wind Chill Chart

WIND CHILL CHART

This chart, based on data from the Armed Forces Wind Chill Tables, shows the apparent temperature to which bare human skin is subjected as a function of the wind velocity and actual temperature.
For an example of its use, suppose the temperature on top of a peak in 15 degrees above zero, and the wind velocity is a brisk 15 mph. The effect on your bare akin (hopefully not so) is the same as if no wind were blowing and the temperature was -10 degrees. Clever, these Americans!
