Recently arrested in Joshua Tree NM for painting on the rocks in the Ryan and Cove campgrounds, a Downey man received a 60-day suspended sentence provided that he completely remove all traces of the painting within ninety days. In June, an Indianan (not an Indian) was fined $25 for permitting a teen-age relative to paint names on the great granite boulders near the entrance to the Hidden Valley Nature trail. What next?
