A week in Glen Canyon with Lou Elliott's trip out of Berkeley was thoroughly enjoyed by trip-leader-extraordinary BOB GREENAWALT.

Moving to Washington (state) after finishing off almost all the local Desert Peaks, Sierra Peaks, and Hundred Peaks, Peak-bagger-cum-laude ARKY ERB plans to test his footing on the great mountains of the Northwest. In a year he should have all of them up there.

The Mexican government is actively considering establishing a national park in Chihuahua State in the Copper and Batopilas Canyon areas. It is the area sometimes known as the Grand Canyon of Mexico.

Two new editions of Mexican guidebooks have been published (1962):
(1) Lower California Guidebook by P. Gerhard and H.E. Gulick. $6.50, third edition. Maps and road togs are updated.
(2) Terry's Guide to Mexico by James Norman, 1962 edition. Doubleday and Co., $5.95. Up-to-date and comprehensive.
