CHANGING THE DPS PEAKS LIST
Once a year the DPS Management Committee considers proposals for changes in the section's Peaks List. Any DPS member (the "Champion") can submit a proposal to the Outings Chairperson, John McCully (or his successor) no later than November 30th. The proposal should include the name of the peak, the date it was lead as a scheduled DPS trip (for new peaks), and a brief supporting argument for the proposed change.
At the February meeting the Management Committee will present the list changes it thinks worthy of consideration. If the Management Committee doesn't submit a peak to the vote, a vote can be forced by submitting a petition signed by 25 members at or before the March meeting.
