detailing where we will be camping. The campsites are usually 'primitive' desert areas (no water, potti, etc.). It you don't bring it - you won't have it.
Most bighorn habitat is on B.L.M. land. The Bureau provides biologists to complete environmental assessments as well as money, materials and manpower to assist in maintaining healthy bighorn populations.

With a team consisting of: Volunteers, the Society for the Conservation of Bighorn Sheep, the Bureau of Land Management end the Department of Fish and Game, this should be another great year for Desert Bighorns and all of our desert wildlife.

1. Nov 2/3 Kingston Range: north of Baker, install parabolic drinker and rain apron
2. Jan 18/19 Whipple Mtns: near Havasu Lake, tank replacement and burro enclosure at Jay Bee's BGG
3. Feb 8/9 Granite Mtns: 50 miles E. of 29 Palms, tank replacement at Weavernoy BGG
4. Feb 22/23 Anza Borrego St Pk: Tamarisk removal, Carrizo Can.
5. Mar 7/8 San Gabriel Mtns: Bighorn Census, Lytle Ck area Mar 14/15 Backup date for San Gabriel Census
6. Apr 4/5 Sheephole Mtns: 30 miles E. of 29 Palms, install new BGG
7. May 2/3 Dual Proj: Kelso BGG/Vermin Tank BGG, 25 miles S. of Baker, tank replacement and dam work
8. May 16/17 Camp Cady Campout: 25 miles N. of Barstow
9. June 6/7 Project to be determined
10. Jul 2-5 Desert Census: various mountain ranges
