| Dear Ron: Just looked over Desert Sage 214, and have the answer for J. Holshuh's and Wes Shelberg's queries about the Trail Canyon Route in Death Valley. It had been under discussion for some time. However recently had a lengthy discussion with Ed Rothfuss, Superintendent of DVNM, and it is now positively closed above the forks and will not be reopened. Had been holding up a revision of Death Valley Jeep Trails. It has been completed and is now in press. Enclosed are inserts for the revised edition for Trail Canyon (pp 21-22). |
