MILEAGE: 210 miles ALL paved road
DRIVE: Borrego Spring, Cal. from Christmas Circle, in the middle of town drive West on Palm Canyon Road 2 miles to its end, turn right, North to the day use parking area at the far end (NW) of the Borrego Palm Canyon Campground. This is a California State Park, use fee for day parking. Overnight camping also.
HIKE: Starting at the parking lot find the nature trail and walk NW into Borrego Palm Canyon and up canyon following the creek for about two miles and then look for a likely route ascending to the summit ridge. You may also start the climb by walking along the trail only 1 mile and ascending the main canyon to the summit ridge (all routes: require mini route finding) Many boulders on route make the climb time consuming.
GAIN: 3000 ft. ROUND TRIP: 7 miles & 7 hours.
