Membership: Two years ago you may remember we voted not to add a new emblem for playing around in the desert. The DPS should be for the serious business of climbing peaks! So be it. There is now a new committee for those who wish to play, visit sand dunes, ghost towns, mines, take short hikes and enjoy campfires and pot luck dinners. Below are three trips sponsored by the NEW - 'BACKROAD EXPLORERS" Committee. Theses 3 trips are for 4-WD only, however some trips will be for 2-wheel drive also. Horse Canyon and into Wood's Wash for evening campfire and pot luck dinner.
