DEAR EDITOR: I
have been reading the Sage for as long as it has been the Sage and some years
before that and watching it slide the DPS needs a boost, some new member
leaders, lots of trips to Pks that are on the list, and a reminder to those
list finishers that every trip they lead is not an exploratory after all how
would they ever finished the list if all the old time leaders had lead
exploratory Pks. There are those in the section that want to push the list to (100) Pks. no matter how far the drive or what junk, at one time the list was made up of many fine Pks good climbs great views and not half way across the country. I think its time the DPS go back to what it once was and leave those to there EGO TRIPS, they don't mix. |
