Dear Mr. Grams,

Sorry for taking so long in answering your letter.

The area you are inquiring about will be closed to non- Papagos for an indefinite period of time.

The Administration Office realizes that not all people have bad intentions for being in the area. Therefore certain groups will be allowed in the area, as in your case.

Please fill in the form and send it back to the Papago Tribe, well in advance of your trip. A signed copy will be sent to the Law Enforcement Office. If there are any changes to be made on the form go directly to the Law Enforcement Office and have the changes made.

There is a camping fee of 50¢ per person, per night. You can make check payable to the Papago Tribe if you know ahead of time your length of stay.

You can pick-up your receipt at the Law Enforcement Dept. at the same time you pick-up your authorized form.

If you follow this procedure you shouldn't have any problems.

Baboquivari Peak is sacred to our people therefore your group should be careful not to upset anything.
