summit is 3/4 mile southeast of elevation 11123. |

There
is a locked gate two miles south of Barcroft Laboratory. Permission must be
obtained from the Navy to drive past this point. Hiking is allowed with a
special permit obtained from the Forest Service. |

summit is three miles northwest of Cerro Gordo Mine. The mine is private
property and permission to park and hike in the area should be obtained from
the caretaker. |

register is now on peak 6394 which is one mile south of the range high point,

southwestern edge of Laguna Salada. |

is the high point of the Sierra San Pedro Martir and is about 100 miles south
of Mexicali. It is also known as La Providencia and El Picacho del Diablo.
