Dan Richter Active in the DPS: 1992-2005 SPS DPS LTC Mountaineering Leadership Course Dan Richter has given freely of his organizational and leadership skills. As chair of the LTC he revised the Leadership Training Manual with help from top climbing experts. He started the LTC rock and snow clinics with professional guides and spearheaded the Mountaineering Leadership Course. He has also served the Desert Peaks Section as council rep chair and secretary and the Sierra Peaks Section as secretary membership chair vice chair chair and archivist. Richter has led many trips for the DPS and SPS and has conducted numerous training workshops for the LTC.
