Norm Rohn (d.) Active in the DPS: 1967-1989 Active in SPS HPS DPS From the 1979 Chapter Awards Banquet writeup: "The Hundred Peaks Section and Sierra Peaks Section have been Norm's interest for over 13 years. He has led trips for both sections and served as the SPS Safety Chairman for five years. He has provided this support even though he resides in Camarillo." Rohn climbed all the peaks in the SPS DPS and HPS and was a long-time SPS Safety Chair. He was also very active in trail building and maintenance. Norm may be best remembered in the DPS for his "Burro Bake" trips. These trips were the predecessor to today's "Chili Cook-off" trips. May 11 1969 HPS trip to Little San Gorgonio
