Pat (Meixner) Gentry Active in the DPS: 1958-1968 Patricia Meixner was a founding member of the Sierra Peaks Section and the individual who reported many of the early trips in the Southern Sierran. She the first elected secretary of the SPS the section's first elected secretary (1956) and subsequently the elected SPS treasurer (1957). She also was SPS annual banquet co-chair (1957). In addition she was co-chair (with husband Arvel Gentry) of the Angeles Chapter Membership Committee (1960). She currently (2005) lives in Bellevue Washington with her husband Arvel.
