Moreover, to the best of our knowledge, directions contained in this guide were accurate at the time of printing, but conditions do change. The Sierra Club, Desert Peaks Section and the author recommend that you contact the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, United States Forest Service or other appropriate agency to ascertain current conditions and any possible dangers on the routes described herein before embarking on any route. While this guide contains suggested times for completing each peak climb, different persons hike at different paces and it may take you considerably longer to complete the climb than the time set forth in the guide.
